Heather Estrada – Natural Farming Analysis Basis

Heather Estrada has been part of the natural farming neighborhood for the previous 20 years, as a scientist, professor, grower, and advocate. She has labored with transitioning and licensed natural farmers within the area, carried out natural crop and weed analysis, and has spent a lot of her profession educating college students in regenerative natural farming rules and practices. 

Heather began her natural agriculture profession in Edmonton, Canada, finding out and researching natural wheat breeding and agronomy. She graduated from the College of Alberta (BS, Crop Science; PhD, Plant Science) after which moved to Kalispell, Montana to work as a cropping methods analysis agronomist with Montana State College. Heather switched her profession focus to schooling in 2012, taking up the position of school professor and Agriculture program director at Flathead Valley Group Faculty in Kalispell. Whereas there, she created diploma packages and curriculum, began a working academic vegetable farm on the school campus, and taught courses resembling plant science, soil nutrient administration, built-in pest administration, sensible farm manufacturing, and constructing neighborhood meals methods.

Heather is wanting ahead to bringing her expertise and fervour for analysis and schooling to OFRF, and hopes to make a significant contribution to the lives of farmers by way of her work.
