To fulfill the Setting Company’s accelerated goal that every one Mixed Sewer Overflows (CSOs) are fitted with Occasion Period Monitoring (EDM) units by 31 December 2023, Southern Water wants to put in and/or improve EDM to 500 CSOs in AMP7 and has engaged Trant Engineering to develop a plan for his or her design, provide and set up.

SWS wanted numerous these deliberate outputs by 31 March 2022 to satisfy the Nationwide Setting Programme (NEP) deadline. Every EDM set up required a bespoke design to swimsuit the present infrastructure, making a problem for Trant and its electrical sub-contractors GA Electrical Providers, SRE Providers and telemetry specialist Multiform Applied sciences. “We accomplished 54 installations in eight weeks to satisfy the 31 March deadline and are nicely on the way in which to finishing the entire AMP7 necessities”, says Katie Kerr, Trant Undertaking Supervisor. “We now have been engaged on EDM with Trant since 2016 when the Setting Company first launched the programme,” says SWS Undertaking Supervisor, Angus Cramp, “and Trant have all the time supported SWS to satisfy the deadline 12 months on 12 months”.
